Cost of procrastination

Example 1...Ticket
$185 - speeding ticket (left to late to go home...in aug...in texas)
$20 - money order and shipping to send payment to texas...overnite.
     waited till the day before it was due to send it.
$100 - ticket driving on suspended licence...guess payment didn't get there in time
$70 - cost to reinstate my licence

Example 2...not fixing brakes...end result...accident
$185 - new headlights
$280 - new hood
$200 - gas for others driving me places

Example 3...not stopping for a pheasent (a bird...that's right a bird did this)
$225 - new trans coolant
$400 - rebuilt transmission (after insurance...thank the Lord for that)

sad day people
one of our peacocks died the other day.
found out that one of our goats (obie) has a neurolgical disease.
it is going to kill him
he is mutilating himself....sad to see.
his back legs he can't really move anymore.
and one of our horses (vega...like the car that's right BOO-YA)
has something called cushings disease.
she has had it for a while now.
but just found out that it is going to kill her eventually.
it sounds like we have a market of dead on our hands huh.
oh yeah and a ferret died too. (but that was just of old...old...old age)

i will say this.
today was a day that work was not all that great...
i read some comments on here and i would have to say
that it did make my heart smile. thanks
i am doing a worship service kinda for my church on sat.
i am excited but nervous all at the same time.
work is frustrating at times.
life is good.
life is hard.
it is on both sides of the board.

well right now i am at my biological father's house.
i will tell you what it is a treat.
i am not sure what to think about it yet.
his wife and son say that he is a totally different person.
that he is nice and that they never want me to leave.
so if anyone reads this please let me know that you are praying for me.
i want to be able to see through everything.
i want to see the truth.
i do not want to be coated in lies.
his wife is awesome.
she tries to talk to me but whenever she does....he comes in and checks on what we are talking about.
i got to meet my brother for the first time in my life.
that was really exciting.
he is really excited to see me.
i like it.
i am going to go thrift stores in a little bit.
gotta round up the cowboy gear right?
so if you read this and are going to pray for me let me know so i know.

so the racoon never brought my phone back...little punk!
sad day i know.
but good news...the phone i had was going to be 500.
so i did not get that one.
i got one that was cheaper.  
those of you who know me would be proud.
but i did get a new one...but i don't have anyone's number
